NEEDLE EPILATION
At Estefit Safranbolu Beauty and Life Center, we have been serving our clients from Karabük, Safranbolu, surrounding provinces and districts for 6 years with our experienced staff in needle epilation applications.
Needle epilation is the method of removing unwanted body hair by entering the hair follicle with a very thin needle and delivering low electric current to each hair individually at various frequencies and energies, thereby heating and destroying the hair follicle. Needle epilation is done on each hair one by one. The specialist must be able to insert the needle into the root of each hair. Therefore, needle epilation is a laborious and time-consuming process.
We generally recommend needle epilation if there are few hairs, if there is hair between the quince hairs in the facial area, if there are light-colored and white hairs, and if there are hairs that do not disappear despite laser epilation.
In needle epilation, when the specialist places the needle in the right place and gives sufficient energy, if the hair follicle is damaged, that hair can be removed in a single session.
In our needle epilation applications, we apply sessions of maximum 30 minutes to prevent our specialist from being distracted.
How is Needle Epilation Done?
The area where needle epilation will be performed is cleaned with skin disinfectants. A very thin needle is inserted into each hair one by one and current is applied. The hair is pulled out with tweezers. This process is repeated for each hair. Mild pain may be felt during this procedure.
When the application is completed, the application area is cleaned and you continue your daily life by following the necessary precautions and warnings.
How Long Does Needle Epilation Take?
Depending on the size of the application area, it may take between 10 and 30 minutes.
What Should the Session Intervals Be and How Many Sessions Should There Be?
Session intervals are at least 3 weeks. Session intervals vary from person to person and region to region. After the session, our experts will inform you about when you can come.
What Should I Do After Application?
After the application, you can continue your daily life where you left off. Application areas should be kept away from direct sun contact and solarium. After 3 weeks of the procedure, sunbathing and solarium can be done. We recommend applying sunscreen and moisturizing cream to the treated areas. There are situations when care must be taken, especially in the first 3-7 days. We do not recommend bathing on the first day. We recommend warm baths in the following days. We do not recommend skin-irritating procedures such as scrubs, peelings, etc. in the first days. Tight clothing should not be worn in the first days.
